Hello 76 Readers (75 of which are probably me),
A note on this blog, by way of introduction: This account was created as part of an assignment for a French class at Reed College on Renaissance poetry in 2005. At that time, I was unaware of the meteoric rise blogs would experience over the next 4 years, and chose as my "handle" my given name.
Unfortunately, I allowed this account to lie fallow for the next several years, and only rediscovered it—to my horror—upon doing a google search of my name. Call it egotism, but I do believe there is only one Ryann Liebenthal in the world and I trust that any of my undoubtedly numerous internet stalkers understand this reality as well.
Therefore, in the face of my poor college French grammar, remedial analyses of French Renaissance poetry, and unfortunate contributions to the form, I have been trying for years to remove this blog and erase its stain from my tattered reputation among the internets.
But, having used a Reed-affiliated login for this account, the password for which I can no longer remember, I was at the mercy of the Blogger support team for many years—in other words, S.O.L. Today, I have succeeded—hurrah!—and will shortly be removing this account. Please be patient in the intervening time.
Best wishes,
Ryann Joan Liebenthal
